The Mistake We all make on the Scales

Our weight can quickly become an obsession. Wrongly. Whether you want to refine your figure or gain in tone, the number displayed on your scale is just a sham. Explanations.

The scale is not always your friend. It can discourage you. Here are 5 things to know to weigh yourself well.

1 - THE WEIGHT IS NEVER THE SAME DEPENDING ON WHEN YOU WEIGH YOURSELF

If you weigh yourself on waking or before bed, your weight will not be the same. Between your wet hair, your jewelry and especially your period (hello belly swollen!) You can not even imagine how the weight varies. Constantly.

2 - WEIGHING OURSELVES IN BY FIXING ON THE NUMBER IS USELESS

When you weigh yourself, the two numbers that appear in front of your feet are almost insignificant. Why ? One can very well be "light" while being in poor health. Thus, weight does not count if you are in lack of water, or if you have a nutritional deficiency.

3 - THE SCALE DOES NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT OUR MUSCLES WHEN WE WEIGHING OURSELVES ...

And yes. If you go to the gym regularly, your muscles will be heavier. Therefore, the scale will display a higher number. And yet you will no doubt have burned fat. So you will have gained weight by having a much slimmer figure.

4 -… AND CAN LEAD US TO BAD EATING HABITS

When one wants to lose weight, it is a mistake to make a fixate on the scale. This can lead to bad decisions. Do not put your health at risk by undertaking a drastic diet because you do not see the famous number decrease.

5 - WEIGHING OURSELVES LOWERS MORALE

You are making an effort on your diet but your scale is not giving you the results you expected. What could be more discouraging? Do not lose patience or motivation, your two allies to achieve your slimming goal.
